Is really Modi factor worked?

All the political corners are praising Narendra Modi as he helps BJP in managing a win all four state elections. Though the results are still to be declared but from the reaction of congress it is clear that they accept defeat. Is really the Modi factor work? well for obvious reason yes it worked. But if you closely observe then you will find out the Modi is just acting as a medium for the person who are thoroughly disappointed by the congress government and wants the change.

Talking about Madhya Pradesh, Modi factor is completely ignored as the standing CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan has greater impact on the voters. People want to see him as CM again and hence they are voting. Now moving towards the Chattisgarh there also standing CM Raman singh is having good hold over the voters and congress is lagging the leadership. So, rather than Modi it’s the standing CM and incapable congress leaders who are making it easy for BJP. These are BJP owned states and now lets discuss about the congress owned states Rajasthan and Delhi.

Rajasthan wants to see Ashok Gehlot as a CM but their cabinet ministers are not that good. Ashok Gehlot did not anything significantly wrong but hasn’t done significant right and hence people are now looking for the change. Now the high profile Delhi elections where the standing Congress CM Sheela Dixit is expected to lose in this election. She served three complete terms as a CM and now she may be ruled out by the people. Inability of congress government in the center, increasing rape cases and strong anti-congress movement led by social activist damages Sheela dixit badly. People are fed up of congress and just need a good option to replace them. Modi is doing exactly the same thing. He always points the negative aspects of the congress while he never give any indication regarding his own development plans. Gujrat is blessed by foreign funds and the economics of state is completely different from the country’s economy. Is he having any strong plans? If so, then why don’t he gave an indication of that plan?  There are still many of the questions to be raised but the bottom line of this discussion is that BJP gained advantage because congress weakens its position not because Modi ameliorate the BJP. I would love to see Shivraj singh again as a CM and also eager to see Modi plans. Let’s hope they build the better India and fulfill the expectation of common man.

Sanity returns to the MP congress

Six month back everyone was shouting the name of Shivraj Singh Chauhan and he is still the favorite for the CM but now the situation is different. Everyone including the BJP was considering this election is cake walk as congress was completely out of the track. But now with each passing day congress is growing strong. From the balanced statements to the selection of candidates congress is making every effort to increase the seats and their effort are well on its way to make it possible. With the growing popularity of the Scindia the congress state is again in the hunt and BJP too are aware of it.

No matter how influential the Modi and BJP campaigns but the Scindia’s campaign effect can be seen on M.P. voters. The lists of candidates are out and it gives clear indication of betterment of congress. I wouldn’t be surprised if I see congress won 110 seats out of 230. While in BJP the panic can be seen and their state level leaders are clueless in this election. Though the tickets are distributed wisely but as compared to congress the BJP are showing less intent. May be they are focusing on the Shivraj’s brand which can prove to be effective.

I am personally happy to see the wise statements made by the congress and after a long time I saw congress is working hard to get the maximum seats. It is still early to say that congress can make the government but one thing which is for sure is that BJP will definitely lose 15-30 seats due to the Scindia’s effect. Let’s wait till 8 December to know how effective the Scindia campaign is.

Senseless statements could prove fatal to Congress

Yesterday was a busy day.  Everyone in my area was in rush to reach home or to finish tasks before the AAM SABHA of Rahul Gandhi. I lived near the place where the Rahul was expected to deliver the speech. Due to my semester exams I was not able to attain the sabha but I read the complete speech of Rahul Gandhi. The speech was no different from his other speeches and I was disappointed by the way he took to convince the voters. Though audience applauded every sentence of Rahul Gandhi but congress cannot consider it to be in their favor. After all the audience were the paid ones. The point he was raising was useless and his desperation to prove congress better than other parties was shown in his speech. Today I heard MODI giving speech in Jhansi (U.P.) and he was just using the Rahul Gandhi’s statements.

In this situation where the MODI is the HOT favorite congress must not give any statements which may turn against them. Congress leaders are totally confused and don’t know how to handle the media or to give speeches while the BJP leaders are giving effective speeches. State elections are approaching in Madhya Pradesh and Jyotiraditya Scindia’s effect can be seen in Madhya Pradesh but the speeches of Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders are making his way tougher. I have seen Jyotiraditya scindia defending the senior’s leaders in the press and I don’t think he is supposed to do that.

If congress really want to win the elections then they must have to adopt the strategy which they adopted in the 2003 elections i.e. give right kind of speeches and attack the party not the candidate. In 2003 Atal bihari Vajpayee ji was hot favorite but congress still able to sneak victory. Moreover, congress can learn from its own C.M. Sheela Dixit who is likely to win the next elections as well. If congress is willing to pass such statements then I would request them to stay away from state level politics in Madhya Pradesh as it will waste Scindia’s efforts.

I hope that the statement quality of congress improves in near future otherwise it will be curtains for the congress.

Modi-fying India

Days of Lok Sabha elections are coming closer and NA-MO fever is starting to take control. We all witnessed what Modi did to Gujarat, which ignites the fire of change. For most of us he is the ideal prime minister of the country and to in-cash his popularity BJP even sacrifices its old loyal companion. But does it make sense?  Well for obvious reasons yes. After Atal Bhirai Vajpayi Modi is the only leader of BJP whose popularity graphs is increasing with his each statement. Moreover, Modi brings new verve to the banal Indian population.

From the use of promotion techniques to word selection during the press conference, Modi
is emphatic in every sense. After a long time we receive such a proactive leader and in fact for many of us he is the prime minister. With all the allegations of being autocratic and a Hindu biased leader, he is still one of the hot favorite to won the next poll. Unfortunately, the way for Modi is not as easy as it’s seen. In fact it’s a crisis situation for the BJP.

Though BJP did cornered from the Lal Krishna Advani but the probability of Modi winning the election is still one by two. BJP too is unsure whether they are coming in the power or not. Modi recently landed harsh words to the Nitish kumar and it may well turn out against him. After noble prize winner Amartya sen’s statements, intellectuals of the country too are having the doubts on abilities of the Modi. Moreover, if you observe the last few conferences of Shivraj Singh Chauhan (chief minister of M.P.) then you will find the sense of opposition in his words. He too did commendable work in Madhya Pradesh but fails to get the limelight. Moreover, with growing opposition inside the party Modi’s dream to Modi-fy India may be broken soon.

“You cannot elect the religion biased leader for the post of P.M. in secular country”. I found this line in one of the editorials of a newspaper which along with the article of TOI “Truth behind NAMO’s number” invokes new thoughts on the Modi’s way to become a P.M.  I personally appreciate his style of leadership but still the journey is not easy as it seems. Hope Modi’s dream come true and we have a dominating P.M. after Late. Indira Gandhi.

Save the unborn kill the alive

After having a missed Sunday (that’s what I called when I miss reading news), I finally turned up the online portals for the recent activities and the protest in Ireland stuck in my eyes. There are thousands of social activist protesting against the abortion bills which is most likely to be passed by the government. As this bill will legalize the abortion to save the life of the mother, hence I would personally feel that protesting for it is not right. While on other hands the worries of the protestor is also seemed to be quite valid as it will increase the abortion rates.

After the death of the Indian dentist, government of Ireland prepares the law to make the
the abortion legal. With all respect to the protestor’s worries, I personally feel that going for the abortion to save the life of the mother is better than forcing her to deliver the baby by risking her life. As the baby is yet to come in the world, hence aborting him for the sake of saving the existing life is not a bad thing.  I may sound a bit cruel as I am putting the unborn’s life at risk but don’t forget that the emotions are also attached with the mother who was about to deliver the baby.

Government may define the guidelines for legal abortion which will stymies the abortion rates and will reduce the protestor’s worries to a great level. Rather than protesting the laws, social activist must work towards educating the people and for the sake of some inhuman (who go for abortion without a valid reason) we cannot put the mother’s life at risk. I am impatiently waiting for the bill to be passed as it will prevent another death of the generator of the human race.

Tactical errors making it easy for congress

Festival of elections is coming closer and all the participants are ready with their acts. Every party is preparing hard some changes their lead performer while others are still gambling on the old performers. Reading the current movements in the corridors of politics, I was a bit surprised to figure out the tactical loop holes which party of opposition is leaving. Though I am not an experienced election analyst but still I am able to figure out some tactical errors in the election strategy of BJP.

First and the foremost blunder of BJP is that they are concentrating on the single man to win
the election while they forgot that government consists of many leaders. Apart from NAMO, there is no such leader in BJP who can influence the mass audience. With due respect to all the leaders of BJP, many of us watch the LOK SABHA telecast and numerous of times we encountered Sushma Swaraz raising pity questions. Apart from Modi, Arun Jateli, Yashvant Sinha and Jaswant Singh, none of the leaders of BJP is having control over finance which puts them on the back foot.

Fractions between Shivraj Singh Chauhan (chief minister of M.P.) and national level leaders can be seen in the statements of Shivraj Singh Chauhan which again not a positive sign for BJP. Shivraj Singh recently stated in the meet that he too did the developments but only Modi was given limelight. Moreover, with the end of old alliance with Nitish Kumar and Yadiyurappa, BJP is looking tired and a bit biased. Narendra Modi is trying to circulate energy but others are making a mess. Winning a state level election is completely different and I do compliment congress for removing a powerful and popular leader like Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji from the post.

These errors along with the mediocre level politics of raising questions over scams and asking for the enquiry will not do any good to BJP. As an unbiased voter, I could only hope that I would see some real quality political stuffs from BJP than by just posting Photoshop edited images of Modi stating Bharat Nirman or the Next P.M.
