Vacations
and trips are some of the most memorable times of an individual’s life. These
travel experiences make an individual’s life complete. The fun just doubles
when we have kids sharing those vacation moments with us.

When
kids become part of a trip, they bring their energy to it. Their amusement and
reactions to the new and unknown traditions and customs of that foreign land
are priceless and the fun that they have is something that starts to reflect in
every member.
When
I was a kid, we used to go on trips with our uncles and cousins and the “bachha party” used to have a ball
throughout the trip. The reminiscence of those trips is not just cherished by
us but also by our parents. They recall the shear enthusiasm and confidence
that we showed while indulging those goofy traits.
I
recall one incident when we went for a trip to Leh and Ladakh. We were having
cricket bats and ball with us. When we reached there we were all were too
exhausted to even go out for the morning sightseeing but the kids were
determined to practice their cover drive on such heights. We finally gave up to
their will but told them that they can play and we will not be part of the
sport, to which they happily agreed. We were sitting on the rocks watching them
play and that is when few kids dressed in the attire of bodh bhikshu also gathered and watched them play. My cousin’s son
went up to them offered them to play as well. They were a little hesitant at
first but agreed to our kids’ idea. The sight of those bodh kids playing cricket with our kids was something that still
fills up my heart with some warm emotions and brings smile to my face. What we
captured with our eyes that moment has stayed with us as sweet memory, which
could have only been possible because of our kids.
Many
incidents like this had given us memories that we even cherish today. The first
and foremost step to such a perfect
vacation is a good plan. Whenever we plan a vacation, we take special care that
our kids have great time. The first and foremost thing that we do is book a
good hotel or resort. Once you have a good place to stay and throw your luggage
in, it is half the job done. Picking up the right sightseeing spots that would
interest the kids and even the adults is my second priority because on vacation
everyone needs to have fun. Once I cover these two things then I just sit,
relax and enjoy my vacation with my family and make awesome memories that I
cherish long after the trips.
